Here's a list of a few major projects I had a hand in, which I either conceptualized and lead or simply a team member of. I hope you can check them out and enjoy them!

The Binding of Isaac: Epiphany

Left Aligned

A mod for the Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ that introduces a new set of characters, the 'Tarnished Characters', acting as a second set of character variants for every base game character beyond the Tainted characters. Currently, 9/17 characters have been finished, and more are being worked on to this very day. This mod also adds additional content, such as a complete set of unlocks for each Tarnished character, unique unlock criteria for the characters, and other miscellaneous additions.

But What Does Ash Do?

I joined the Epiphany team shortly after Tarnished Samson's release in 2024, and have supplied a solid amount of support since. I primarily do playtesting, with additional contributions being additional sprite work, wiki maintaining, documentation, and conceptual design (I came up with the idea for the iconic Giant Puffball item!). I've also done some promotional art which can be found in the Gallery. The Epiphany team has been a blast to work with and I am excited to see the project reach its fullest potential.

The Binding of Isaac: Lost and Forgotten

Left Aligned

A large content mod for the Binding of Isaac: Repentance that introduces a large set of new content, including four new characters, 100+ new items, nine bosses, 80+ enemies, four challenges, brand new mechanics such as the Curse system, and more.

But What Does Ash Do?

I hopped on the team back when the mod was being updated for Repentance. My main contribution was room design; I primarily designed the majority of the rooms present in Gehenna, Corpse, and Ascent. Room making is always fun and I'm glad the L&F team gave me the opportunity to make a few.

Webcomic Character Analysis Blog

Left Aligned

A blog that researchs various characters from a VS and powerscaling perspective, gauging their stats and abilities and trying to find potential matchups for them. This blog specifically focuses on a rather underresearched part of VS debating and Death Battle: webcomics, with the intent of bringing more attention to various kinds of webcomics both in and out of powerscaling circles.

But What Does Ash Do?

I was one of many people who collaborated with Vibes (the owner of WCAB) to work on a character analysis blog of Vriska Serket. My contributions were generally finding feats and obscure abilities and tools that Vriska had, as well as potential feats from other characters that she could scale to, searching through such things as the Paradox Space comics and each of the interactive Alterniabound flashes. Working on this blog was real fun and I hope to work on more VS blogs in the future.
