Fanmade FNAF wrold gameplay (12/16/2015)

Mockups of various fights and scenes from the then unreleased FNaF World. Did you know that FNAF World just turned a decade old while I'm writing this? Jesus christ I'm old.

In the comments of the third gameplay mock-up someone got on my case for having Shadow Bonnie be an enemy. I defended myself by saying that in the context of this mock-up you'd unlock him as a playable character by beating him. Turns out that is exactly how you unlock characters in the actual game. Who's laughing now, /u/Plushtrapped?

The Death Boy stuff uses an edit made by /u/Evanetot that I didn't ask permission for prior to making it. The original art source itself seems to be long gone so in a way I helped preserve it

Art I made in response to being temporarily banned from r/fivenightsatfreddys, depicting me running away from the Freddit mod team at the time.

Obviously, since I was banned I couldn't actually post it on the subreddit, so I did the next best thing: post it onto an unrelated subreddit (in this case r/Spongebros, a subreddit for Spongebob-themed Super Smash Bros memes) and beg people to post it on Freddit for me. With credit, of course!

Needless to say, nobody did me a solid. I ended up uploading it myself on the 22nd after my ban expired.

Undertale austin fight (12/17/2015)

Art I made a day after I got banned from the fnaf reddit. I found the moderation for the Undertale reddit quite a bit more lax in terms of 'low effort content' compared to the fnaf reddit (Rule 8 used to be my kryptonite). That, combined with the slightly more positive reception it got (which to this day I still cannot tell if it was genuine) made be believe the Undertale reddit could be my safe haven. That thought was quite short lived.

Undertale was like three months old at this point and I was just getting into it. I don't think I actually watched any gameplay footage of it until a little later so I didn't actually know a whole lot about it. I watched Jacksepticeye's playthrough of it in order to get my fix and I wouldn't actually play the game until a little bit after it came out on Switch. To this day I still haven't completed a full Genocide route.

The third Undertale fanart I made at the time, featuring Frisktin and Floweystin. They have the 'stin' suffix because they were drawn in my 'art style' at the time.

Like I said previously, I thought that the Undertale subreddit could've been a safe space to share my art without any criticism, but the feedback I got from this art shot that down quick. As one reddit user put it, "this is shit"

A shoddy edit of one of the cameras from FNaF 3. I was still banned from the main subreddit, so this was uploaded to the dedicated fangame subreddit, r/fivenightsatfangames. That sub has since died.

If you couldn't tell already, the majority of my edits and drawings were either made with good old MS Paint or Scratch, a coding website that I frequented. It was basically my main art program for a solid year or two before I learnt how to use Paint.net

I found the pixel art style from the FNAF games at the time quite easy to replicate, so you may see a lot of 'So Retro' style pieces here. Turns out the FNAF minigame art style has a lot of nuance that makes them look somewhat appealing. Don't ask me why the animatronics are facing the wrong way. I have no idea how I screwed that up.

I was still banned from the main subreddit, so this was uploaded on r/FNAF, which is basically just an in-joke for the main subreddit now at this point.

Five Splats on Freddy (12/19/2015)

Oh boy, Five Splats on Freddy. I uploaded this on the Splatoon subreddit since, again, I was still banned, yet still wanted to make FNAF content. I was hyperfixated on Splatoon at the time, so thus, this thing was made. This would eventually spin off into a series of fake games on Fantendo (video game fanon wiki), which is its own entire seperate can of worms that is deserving of its own day in the sun.

Keep in mind that 2015 was a time where posting about FNaF anywhere that wasn't a dedicated community for it got you loads of hatemail. Cringe culture was at its peak around this era, and being a stubborn autistic child who frequented Reddit and Deviantart put me right in the crossfires. But I didn't really care. In a way, I wish adult me was more like kid me. All this to say that the r/splatoon community really didn't like this piece.

Five Splats on Freddy 2 Old Puppet (12/23/2015)

A shoddy edit of a Withered Puppet, which I called Old Puppet. This was for the sequel to my fnaf 'fangame' series, Five Splats on Freddy. If I recall correctly, the Puppet was in the first game and the OG cast would be withered, including Puppet. Wasn't I just so creative back then?

What Can We Use (12/23/2015)

Back during the 'golden age' of fnaf, it was common to see 'resource packs' of various cutouts from FNaF renders in order to assist in making edits. This thing was the result of me slapping a bunch of assets from resource packs together into something vaguely inspired by prerelease FNaF 3 theories of some sort of frankenstein animatronic. The tongue ears are my favorite part.

One of many FNaF X Undertale AUs I came up with. Does anybody remember when Undertale was only a year old and both it and FNaF had a somewhat intense fandom rivalry? Undertale fans didn't really like seeing FNaF crossover content and vice versa. Nowadays they've of course mellowed out but I thought it was funny because most people I knew back then liked both.

r/FNAF RPG (5/15/2016)

A teaser for an RPG I would've made featuring various r/fivenightsatfreddys users, depicting Invaderzz, the head mod at the time. I believe there was already a Freddit RPG being made at the time so most people just saw this as redundant.

I'm pretty positive that RPG ended up cancelled. Mine didn't get much further. I think I made like the main menu and intro before I called it quits.
